ProSports Imaging Sports Professional Success
ProSports
Imaging is one busy place. Each month the state-of-the-art
imaging center sees 300 patients for diagnostic MRI, bone density
and total body composition testing. The imaging center could easily
rest solely on its top-notch staff and technology to bring in
patients, but undoubtedly its emphasis on a professional, compassionate
atmosphere before, during and after patient procedures adds to
its success. It also adds to the amount of time spent with each
patient. So, how does ProSports Imaging treat over 300 patients
a month, give their patients excellent care, and maintain an unhurried
atmosphere? The answer lies in technology.
In order to run as smoothly and efficiently as they do, ProSports
Imaging uses Pyron MRI Report to transfer patient information
securely and quickly, without the use of staff time and resources,
which they put back into patient care.
Easy access of information is a critical component to the imaging
center running smoothly. ProSports Imaging is in Cleveland, Ohio
but utilizes radiologists as far away as California. So, an easy
and safe transfer of patient reports takes place daily.
"The radiologists in California like Pyron MRI Report because
we now have the capacity to email all the patient information
to them. It is easy for them to access and read. This is a huge
improvement over our old systems where we used to fax information
to radiologists and the faxes had the potential to get lost or
misplaced. Since we started emailing the information and using
Pyron MRI Report, we eliminated any potential for lost paper,
increasing efficiency and patient care," Stacy Basar, Practice
Manager at ProSports Imaging, explains.
Besides transferring information quickly and securely between
the imaging center and radiologists, ProSports Imaging uses MRI
Report to get information to its referral physicians efficiently.
Jennifer Aponte, Practice Administrator, says this. "We
rely heavily on diagnostic MRI and X-ray films and reports as
a day-to-day part of treating patients. We used to have to rely
on them being transported between offices or the treating physician
getting to the office to review them. Now we can access our MRI
reports from anywhere within our network."
Stacy Basar continues, "The orthopedic physicians like the
system because they have immediate access to the reports. Before
Pyron MRI Report, they would have to wait for us to physically
give the report to their office. The reports are now available
before and after our hours, which means we do not need to be here
for them to get the results. We expanded our hours without opening
our doors an extra minute."
They've got efficiency, they've got security, they've got technology,
and most importantly, have they got patients.
